Referral Veterinarian..
When do you as a veterinarian refer to an animal physiotherapist?
- When an animal with a problem with the locomotor apparatus shows unsufficient function recovery after pain medication.
- When pain medication is out of the question due to medical reasons.
- When you as an animal doctor expect that recovery (due to additional problems) should be quickened.
- In case of bad wound healing.
- When the owner believes advice or guidance is needed on how to cope with the animal’s complaint.
